Full Job Description

  • Liaise with the Client Monitors to resolve any routine problems and ascertain to inform them of any future intentions
  • Ensure daily vehicle, barrows and other equipment checks are completed at the commencement of each shift and that the appropriate forms are correctly completed
  • Carry out complete vehicle, plant and equipment checks. Ensure that any damage or defects are properly reported
  • Undertake daily and monthly contract monitoring surveys and assist with generating associated reports as necessary
  • When required deputise for your Operations Manager but any important operational, disciplinary or financial matters are to be discussed with your Activity Manager before action is taken
  • Ensure that any accident involving any employee vehicles or equipment is fully investigated and that all documentation is produced and presented to your Contract Manager, We know how important it is to be fully committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive place to work for every one of our colleagues.     Previous Environmental management experience
  • A proven background in the management, motivation and coaching of a large workforce
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good management skills, including both motivation and disciplinary skills
  • Reporting, time management, appraisal and presentation skills
