The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., An exciting opportunity has arisen within Swansea Bay University Health Board, Estates Department for highly motivated individuals to fulfil Estates Officers positions both Electrical. These are a key roles within the Estates Department, the posts will be based at Morriston Hospital and will support other Health Board premises.
The roles demands that the individuals have an extensive knowledge and experience of Electrical, Mechanical and Building Services, working within an Estates function preferably within the Health Care Sector. The individuals should have a proven track record of staff, project and maintenance management.
The post holders will be appointed as appropriate Authorising Person (AP) role for varying disciplines in keeping with requirements of the Department and participation in an On-Call Service for the Health Board., To provide a safe, secure and pleasant environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Responsible for the operational management of all estates services and staff within the Swansea Bay UHB operational establishments.

Responsible for ensuring that all building and estates maintenance, minor works projects and contracted works are carried out to appropriate legislative standards and other guidance notes and within the resources allocated.
Provide expert specialist and professional Estates expertise to staff throughout the Health Board., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
