Full Job Description

The Company has experienced unprecedented growth over the past few years. We have a vast number of employees, and provide support to clients from all over the country.

Are you an experienced and detail-driven professional ready to take charge of the vital examination process at a leading independent school?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sunday Times North Independent Secondary School of the Decade. We are seeking a motivated and organised Examinations Manager to join our dedicated team and play a vital role in the academic success of our school.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of external and internal examinations for KS4 and KS5, ensuring compliance with awarding bodies' regulations and maintaining the highest standards of organisation and integrity. From preparing examination timetables to managing invigilation teams, liaising with colleagues, students, and parents, and overseeing special provisions, you will ensure a seamless examination experience for all.
Based on our stunning 140-acre site in North Leeds, the role offers the chance to work within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. You will handle diverse responsibilities, including coordinating examination entries, managing results days, maintaining examination data, and ensuring candidates' non-examined assessments are submitted on time. You'll also oversee the Exams and Academic Assistant, the large pool of experienced invigilators and manage the exams budget.
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in managing school or college examination processes and an excellent understanding of examination regulations. You should possess outstanding organisational skills, a high level of accuracy, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office is essential, and experience with SIMS Examinations Organiser is highly desirable.
