Full Job Description

The Talent Set is thrilled to be working with a fantastic organisation as they search for their new Faculty Marketing officer for a fantastic 6-month role. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Faculty Marketing Manager with the development and production of marketing and communications activities for the Faculty.,

  • Assist the Faculty Marketing Manager with all aspects of marketing and communications activities.
  • Collaborate with other Faculty Marketing Officers and the Corporate Events team to ensure consistency and best practice across the institution.
  • Develop and produce engaging content for various media platforms, including digital and print (website, email marketing, presentations, videos, photos, prospectuses, course flyers).
  • Manage Faculty's social media presence (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Tiktok) ensuring timely, accurate, and engaging content.
  • Support the design and production of Faculty promotional materials and contribute to corporate marketing initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to faculty colleagues on brand, tone of voice, and visual identity.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of marketing content through external suppliers (photography, video).
  • Manage Faculty web presence, logging and implementing updates.
  • Contribute to proofing, copywriting, and other marketing tasks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with academic and support teams to enhance knowledge about Faculty programs.
  • Recruit, manage, and oversee content creation by Digital Student Ambassadors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Occasional Saturdays will need to be worked but time off in lieu will be given.

    Degree in business, marketing, advertising and branding, or a closely related field (other qualifications may be considered with demonstrable marketing experience).

  • Experience in preparing marketing communications.
  • Digital and social media management and development experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Email marketing experience.
  • Webpage and website management experience.
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional proofreading skills.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver projects on time.

    An initial 6-month contract with possible extension.
  • A flexible Full time role working 1-day per-week from the organisation's Essex base.
  • A competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000 pro-rata and depending on experience.
