Full Job Description

Supporting our clients with all aspects of personal care including washing, bathing and toileting, this will be for our male and female clients.

Administering medication in a way appropriate for the client.

Preparing meals for clients where necessary.

Providing support with shopping and light domestic tasks.

Providing companionship to all clients.

More complex care is required with some clients e.g. cough assistant and peg feeding, however full training is given.

Be honest, reliable, and trustworthy.

Have good listening and communication skills.

Have empathy for service users' situations.

Be committed to working as part of a team.

Be physically fit and in good health.

Be happy to work in a diverse multi-cultural society.

Be aware of the varied needs of people in the community.

Be reliable - this is essential as people's lives are affected by our service.

Be willing to do mandatory training and updates as required.
