Financial Accountant

Join one of the UK s leading independent, family-owned dairies in a role that combines responsibility, variety, and growth opportunities., Reporting To: Financial Controller Managing: 2 Assistant Accountants & 1 Purchase Ledger Administrator Your Role As a Financial Accountant, you ll play a key role in various financial functions, including:

• Fixed asset accounting, month-end journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparation of accruals, national statistics forms, and annual reports like Gender Pay.
• Overseeing year-end accounts, stock take, and audit queries.
• Data analysis, report generation, and managing the accounts team.
  
  Ideal candidates will bring:
• Qualifications: CIMA/ACCA or 3+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience: Management accounts, treasury, and ledger expertise.
• Skills:
+ Attention to detail and strong numerical ability. + Proactive, dynamic, and team-oriented mindset. + Excellent IT proficiency (Excel & Word; Sage 200 is a bonus).
