Full Job Description

At Charles Stanley Direct, our Financial Plans and Financial Coaching services are designed to nurture, guide, and empower individuals to achieve financial wellbeing. We offer conveniently packaged and integrated financial services to bridge the advice gap, utilising digital tools to provide a hybrid service of streamlined advice and guidance, particularly in areas such as retirement planning.,

  • Engage with centrally-generated leads to increase prospect conversion and uptake of CSD Financial Plans and Financial Coaching.
  • Develop relationships with other divisions within Charles Stanley to encourage cross-referrals.
  • Provide cover for other areas of CSD Services, including Personal Portfolio Service and Service Level Review.
  • Deliver guidance and advice in accordance with a set advice policy.
  • Contribute to the development of CSD Financial Plans and Financial Coaching services.
  • Share knowledge and experience with colleagues in a collaborative manner.
  • Uphold the ethos, culture, and high standards of Charles Stanley, acting with integrity at all times.
  • Comply with FCA rules, Charles Stanley's Compliance Manual, and other relevant policies.
  • Maintain personal Statement of Professional Standing by adhering to company procedures and FCA requirements.
  • Senior Managers and Certification Regime: This role is classified as a Certificated Function under the SMCR. You will need to be certified annually by Charles Stanley for Functions Requiring Qualifications & Client Dealing.

  • Degree level (or equivalent) preferred.
  • CII (or equivalent) Level 4 qualification.
  • Commitment to maintaining and developing professional qualifications, with an expectation to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status if not already held.
  • Experience in providing financial planning advice and cash flow planning.
  • Knowledge & Skills:
  • Excellent technical knowledge, particularly in areas requiring advice provision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology, as client meetings will primarily be conducted via video conferencing.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to legal, statutory, regulatory, and company policy requirements.
  • Performance Measurement:
  • Achievement of revenue and efficiency targets.
  • Client-facing skills measured through KPIs.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements and file review scores.
  • Positive T&C outcomes.
