Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire Safety Advisor at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a highly motivated and resourceful individual, with excellent interpersonal and technical skills, to work within the Trust's Fire Safety Team.

As a Fire Safety Advisor, you will need to work flexibly, be proactive, be able to cope with different work environments and have the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, whilst delivering high quality work.

The post holder will work within the Fire Safety Team to support the effective delivery of the fire safety management across all of the premises that fall under the umbrella of the South Tees hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder will need to have the relevant knowledge to provide specialist advice on matters of fire safety across the Trust in order to enable the organisation to meet its statutory obligations regarding building fire safety and staff training., The post holder will act as the specialist in the field of fire safety and will require the knowledge and experience necessary to understand what measures must be in place to ensure the organisation's compliance with statutory fire safety regulations.

The post holder must apply this knowledge to the management of fire safety in a healthcare setting to plan and deliver fire safety activities that are appropriate, practicable and sufficient without unnecessarily impacting on the delivery of healthcare services., Service Improvement for Beginners
