Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our Reception/Admin Team based at Broad Street Plaza Halifax. You will also be required to work flexibly across the admin sites from time to time to accommodate the needs of the service, supporting the team from a non-clinical perspective., Foundation trusts provide what the health service wants, yet are also free to invest quickly in the changes to the local community needs, in striving to be the best, and in putting their patients first.

  • Deliver all reception, telephone and administrative duties in a courteous and friendly manner including efficient and timely message taking.
  • Book patients into clinics using electronic booking systems, (SystmOne, Cerner EPR) and process discharge referrals.
  • Communicate with patients, the public and staff from other parts of the trust on a wide range of issues; always presenting an efficient, courteous and empathetic manner.
  • Take delivery of clinical and stationery supplies, including stock taking where necessary.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in conjunction with the Data Protection Act

    You must have excellent communication and customer service skills together with competent IT skills and excellent attention to detail. Having previous experience working in an administrative setting. Using an electronic appointment booking system would also be desirable. You must be able to work under pressure and be able to meet deadlines.
