Full Job Description

Join our Debt Finance Group team and become a key member of the EMEA debt team that is responsible for supporting senior team members in the origination, structuring, and executing debt transactions for Global Corporate Banking clients., As an Analyst/Associate within the Debt Finance Group team, you will develop an in depth knowledge of the suite of debt products available in EMEA, strong credit skills as well as the ability to identify opportunities where the firm can add value to its client base. The goal of the team is to help companies raise capital using a wide range of financial strategies while guiding clients in the advisory, structuring and execution of their financial needs. Debt Finance Group team will support Mid-Cap European clients. This role will be located in London and will support a team across Frankfurt, Paris, London as well as Mid-Cap bankers across the EMEA region.,

  • Assist senior team members in Debt Finance Group and Leveraged Finance with originating, structuring, negotiating, and distributing debt transactions
  • With oversight from senior team members, drive the preparation of customized proposals, pitches, and presentations to clients
  • Oversee financial modelling, cash flow analysis, term sheet development, and credit/capital market presentations
  • Work with credit professionals on negotiation of transaction legal documentation
  • Significant interaction with clients at a senior level
  • Drive internal approval processes in coordination with various internal stakeholders

    Able to demonstrate the relevant level of work experience within Commercial Banking, Investment Banking or Capital Markets within a financial institution
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information and help develop innovative client solutions
  • Superior Excel and Power Point skills
  • Ability to work as a team player interacting with a variety of deal members within a financial institution
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior client management, and senior members of the firm
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines & be highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage processes efficiently
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and marketing skills necessary
  • Complete all relevant regulatory exams or certifications required for the role
  • Fluency in English
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • A background within Leveraged Finance would be highly beneficial
  • Knowledge of EMEA debt capital markets including Direct Lending, High Yield, Subordinated Debt, and Private Placements products is a plus
  • Fluency in French or German
