What you'll do In this role, you will ensure that all Consumer/Business led FCA mandated Product Governance Frameworks and Fair Value Assessments are rolled out, operated, and managed for new, change and withdrawal-based governance products and services. This will need to be done in a coordinated, efficient, and transparent way through effective time management, quality control and regular communication with delivery teams and senior leaders, inclusive of regulatory related Estate and Service moves.  You will be accountable for oversight of framework-based risk management in the embedding of effective risk frameworks, running risk workshops where required, inclusive of setting the standard for Product Design, Sales and Servicing. You will work with the business operations and 2nd Line of Defence to ensure monitoring and managing of frameworks, risks, and controls. The role holder will need to build strong relationships with Senior Leaders to ensure the Risk and Control function is fully represented. This role will also need to deliver ad-hoc projects as required.   Who you are  
  • Understanding in embedding and adhering to organisational frameworks and policies.
  • Ability to manage and lead a small framework-based team and co-ordinate, oversight, manage and maintain job and performance related objectives.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Product Design Governance and risk identification for product design.
  • Knowledge of supporting audits and Compliance Monitoring Reviews.
  • Knowledge of Risk and Compliance Frameworks and practices.
  • Knowledge of Fair Value Assessments and practices.
  • Ability to write clear, simple, and relevant reports for use by a variety of stakeholders, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise work effectively, make sound decisions with sometimes limited information.
  • Superb analytical and research skills.
  • Ability to understand complex data sets.
  • Ability to analyse/interpret information quickly.
  • Ability to oversight, manage and co-ordinate multiple cross-function governance frameworks at any one time.
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of controls and techniques used to meet compliance framework objectives.
