GP Partner / Salaried GP with view to Partnership

Ravenswood Medical Practice is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated salaried GP/GP partner to join their busy practice for up to 6 sessions per week. We are happy to consider applications from newly qualified GPs.,

• Undertaking a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork, reports and correspondence.
• Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation.
• Assessing the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
• Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
• Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols.

Ravenswood Medical Practice is a large PMS Ipswich practice only 2 minutes from the A14 with easy access to London, Cambridge and Norwich, in very close proximity to Woodbridge/Framlingham area of Suffolk.

Our current clinical team comprises of 5 GP partners, 4 salaried GPs, 5 visiting clinicians/paramedics (who deal with the bulk of visit requests), 3 clinical pharmacists and a pharmacy technician and a large nursing team.
