Full Job Description

This role supports the Jet2.com Reliability Programmes and on-going Reliability Developments and Initiatives. This is vital for delivering our industry leading Technical Dispatch Reliability, contributing towards our overall Fleet Safety and On-Time Performance. You will be able to quickly assimilate analytical requirements and translate these into working analytical models and reports. You will also:

  • Perform exploratory and targeted data interrogation
  • Scrutinise and interpret an array of datasets
  • Use descriptive statistics to create clear data visualisations
  • Gather data from multiple sources
  • Monitor the performance of aircraft systems, components, and health checks
  • Assist with reliability predictions and forecasting
  • Create reports to articulate findings to Reliability team and wider business

    We are looking for someone who is passionate about data and analytics who is keen to build a career within an aviation engineering environment. You will be:
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills
  • An excellent communicator, able to engage effectively with all levels across the business
  • An effective team player, but also willing to work from your own initiative
  • Highly numerate, analytical, and accurate with meticulous attention to detail
  • Passionate about working with data and solving problems
  • Have a high level of critical and creative thinking
  • Dedicated, self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, able to work at pace with a strong focus on delivery
  • Have strong organisational skills and be self-disciplined
  • Able to work in highly pressurised environment and be comfortable travelling abroad
  • Experience of data analytics technologies, such as Python, Tableau, Power BI, R, and SQL
  • Educated to degree level, ideally in a STEM related field, however other candidates with a strong analytical background in an unrelated field may be considered
