Full Job Description

  • Define and execute the strategy for the structured trade finance and distribution to drive business growth
  • Lead the structuring of large complex commodity trade finance deals involving more than one Trade product solutions
  • Work closely with sales, credit, legal and product owners of respective product areas while structuring the deals
  • Provide timely guidance to the credit teams on the structure of the deal to facilitate the credit approvals
  • Build a comprehensive distribution strategy to achieve optimal portfolio allocation and risk mitigation
  • Ensure effective utilisation of capital and limit excess concentration risk
  • Provide timely update to the senior leadership on the progress, P&L, and risk/issues
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high performing team of structured trade and distribution

    We're looking for a team leader with experience in structuring large complex trade deals, involving multiple trade products. Previous experience of commodities structure is essential.
  • You'll work with a high energy team of product specialists, as well as key partners in other areas of the bank, to unlock growth whilst championing an environment of diversity and customer centric innovation, promoting new ways of working to deliver our broader purpose - Helping Britain Prosper.,
  • A wealth of experience in structuring commodity trade finance transactions
  • SME level understanding of structure trade finance products - Commodity finance, Inventory finance, BBF, Open Account, Securitisation etc.
  • Deep understanding of commodity markets preferred.
  • Awareness of trade finance regulations and Basel III/IV capital requirement needed
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional team management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
