Head Of Transport, Logistics & Warehouse

At Rocket Food, we're seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and manage warehouse operations and lead our logistics team. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient preparation, loading, transportation, and unloading of all equipment, supplies, and food essential to the success of Rocket Food and its associated brands. What You'll Do:

• Event Logistics: Manage the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of food, drink, and equipment to every event.
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee ordering, receiving, and recording goods, ensuring smooth processes between events and the warehouse.
• Supplier Relations: Source and maintain strong relationships with consumables suppliers for the best value and reliable support.
• Team Leadership: Coordinate and manage your logistics team's rota, ensuring effective labor management within budget.
• Transport & Fleet Management: Oversee company vehicle management, ensuring compliance, and driving license checks.
• Event Presence: Attend events, oversee logistics, and implement improvements as necessary.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, especially the Motorsport team, to ensure seamless transport and logistics for UK-based events., This is a unique opportunity to lead in a fast-paced environment and work closely with dynamic teams to deliver exceptional event logistics. You'll have the chance to drive improvements, oversee operational excellence, and ensure the smooth delivery of our services across various high-profile events.
