Full Job Description

If you have skills to care for people who are living with dementia, then this is the right post for you. We are looking for dedicated, compassionate, caring, genuine individuals to come and join our Multi-disciplinary team here on the Dementia Assessment Unit. You will be given the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge which may lead you to further career prospects.,

  • To provide specialist care and planned interventions to the patients/clients within the Dementia Assessment unit and Specialist Inpatient Service.
  • Under the supervision of registered health care professionals and senior healthcare staff, assist in the delivery of clinical and personal care for a defined group of patients.
  • Takes leadership from Assistant Practitioner and/or Senior Healthcare support worker within a delegation framework for agreed tasks.
  • Ensure patient safety is maintained and patient experience is positive by treating all patients, relatives and colleagues with respect, dignity and courtesy in accordance with Trust values.
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship set by the Home Office and the skilled worker visa occupation list. If you are currently a visa holder and your visa status expires, we may be required to terminate your employment in compliance with immigration regulations
