Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston Health and Safety Department. It is an opportunity to progress and develop within a team of Advisors, making a difference to the overall culture of safety within the Trust. The post holder will have a broad range of H&S legislative knowledge and be a flexible, motivated team player with excellent communication and organisational skills., The post holder will provide competent and up-to-date health and safety advice and guidance to staff and managers on all aspects of health and safety, including legislation, regulations, policies and procedures. The post-holder will demonstrate a well-informed knowledge base of the legislative and regulatory frameworks within the NHS.

Under direction of the Operational Health and Safety Manager the post-holder will also support the Trust Head of Health & Safety Services in implementing health and safety objectives and assist in monitoring of the safety management systems (HSG65)., people and vulnerable adults.
