To continue providing this outstanding service, we're seeking a passionate and proactive Health and Wellbeing Officer to join our friendly Student Services. As a Health and Wellbeing Officer, you will play an essential role in supporting students' personal development and wellbeing. You'll deliver engaging tutorials, facilitate one-to-one sessions, and lead group workshops on important health topics such as mental health, sexual health, healthy relationships, child sexual exploitation, substance misuse, and smoking cessation. Your sessions will be designed to reflect local, national, and global health trends, ensuring they remain relevant and impactful. Working closely with the Health and Wellbeing team, you'll contribute to the smooth running of the Health and Wellbeing Centre by managing tutorial bookings, providing duty cover, and coordinating student services. You'll also take the lead in planning and delivering student inductions, as well as organising college-wide events, including wellbeing weeks, awareness days, and health conferences. You'll actively gather and analyse feedback to improve services and meet students' needs. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external organisations to develop fresh and engaging tutorial content, ensuring it aligns with best practices and emerging trends. You'll also be an ambassador for the Health and Wellbeing Centre, promoting its services across the college and encouraging student participation. A good understanding of these areas will help you make a real difference in the lives of students. You will be a proactive team player, with the ability to manage the day-to-day operations of the Health and Wellbeing Centre while always keeping the student experience at the heart of what you do. You'll also be confident in gathering and analysing feedback to ensure our services meet the ever-evolving needs of learners.   • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent Level 2 qualification)
  • Educated to Level 3 or equivalent
  • Working with and supporting young people
  • Working in a health or wellbeing related field
  • Preferred
  • Teaching qualification or willing to work towards L3 in teaching and learning
  • Health based qualification
  • Experience of working in FE setting
