Your role and responsibilities
As a service manager within the Community Health division, you will:
- be at the forefront of managing change, leading high quality and effective ways of working
- be responsible for the delivery of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme and part of a senior management team working to achieve the best possible outcomes for children, young people and families living in Suffolk., Community health is led by an Assistant Director and Head of Service for Children and Young People and 8 service managers.
- The 0-19 service includes two Healthy Child Service Managers, one clinical governance and audit manager, one service manager for safeguarding and one service manager for Family Nurse Partnership.
- The Healthy Child Service Managers strategically lead and directly manage the delivery of a universal, high quality community health prevention and early intervention services including: Health Visiting, School Nursing, Family Hubs and our Healthy Living Service.
- This post will also line manage our enuresis service and children's community learning disability nursing team.

- Question 4 - Tell us about a time when you identified and addressed performance issues within a service area. What data did you use to identify the issues, what actions did you take, and what were the outcomes?
- Question 5 - Please provide an example of how you've managed resources and budgets effectively to deliver service improvements. What challenges did you face and how did you ensure value for money?
- Question 6 - Describe how you've developed a high-performing team in a previous role. What approaches did you use to support professional development, and how did you manage performance issues?
- Question 7 - Give us an example of how you've ensured service user involvement in service development or delivery. What methods did you use to gather feedback, and how did you implement changes based on this input?
- Question 8 - Tell us about a complex problem you've solved in your current or previous role. What was your approach to analysing the situation, what solutions did you implement, and what were the results?

A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council with no restrictions on practice.
- Educational attainment at post graduate level or relevant experience in professional field of work.
