Are you ready to excel in a dynamic and innovative setting? We have an opportunity for a creative and passionate HR Consultant to provide high-quality support, working closely with the Manager and the GSTT HR Team within the Health Innovation Network (HIN) South London.
Hosted by Guy's and St Thomas's NHS Foundation Trust, we enjoy the benefits of being NHS members of staff while focusing on innovation to improve the lives of patients and staff in the health and care sector. While this was important before, it has an even greater focus now with innovation being looked to help reduce elective care backlogs and health inequalities.
In this role, you will be a vital member of the HIN Corporate Team, contributing to the development and delivery of the organisation's HR function across all areas of the business.

As the HR Consultant, you will provide comprehensive HR support to the HIN and GSTT HR Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. You will support workforce planning and development initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic goals, while collaborating with stakeholders to maintain compliance with employment laws and Trust policies.
In addition, you will play a vital role in driving continuous improvement across HR processes and practices to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment. You will also take the lead on specific HR projects to support organisational priorities and ensure the HIN remains an excellent place to work., If you have questions about the role please read the attached additional questions document. Guy's and St Thomas' is among the UK's busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts. We provide a full range of hospital and community services for people in south London and as well as specialist care for patients from further afield including cancer, renal, orthopaedic, respiratory and cardiovascular services.
Guy's is home to the largest dental school in Europe and a £160 million Cancer Centre opened in 2016. As part of our commitment to provide care closer to home, in 2017 we also opened a cancer centre and a kidney treatment centre at Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup. St Thomas' has one of the largest critical care units in the UK and one of the busiest emergency departments in London. It is also home to Evelina London Children's Hospital.
Evelina London cares for local children in Lambeth and Southwark and provides specialist services across south east England including cardiac, renal and critical care services. We lead a number of specialist service networks aiming to ensure children are treated locally where possible, but have access to specialist expertise when they need it. Our community services include health visiting, school nursing and support for families of children with long-term conditions.
Our adult community services teams deliver care at the heart of the local communities we serve, working in partnership with GPs, local authorities and other healthcare and voluntary sector organisations. Working with our partners in Lambeth and Southwark, we are focusing on new ways of working to improve care for local patients.
In February 2021 the Royal Brompton and Harefield joined Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, bringing together world-leading expertise in the care and research of heart and lung disease. Our merger provides a once in a generation opportunity to build a lasting, world-renowned heart and lung centre, providing the highest quality care for patients and conducting world-leading research.
