Full Job Description

We are looking for a new Ward Clerk to join our team - are you, Perform reception desk duties, dealing with patient enquiries, directing patients to waiting areas/beds and ensuring effective communication at all times Ensure that relevant data forms are completed within the set timescales and submitted via the appropriate database Answer the telephone and take messages Report items for repair and liaise with the works department by following agreed procedures Order stores for the ward using the Trust's ordering systems Monitor ward activity through IT systems and databases Liaise with other departments and disciplines Ensure reports and referral letters are escalated to the appropriate people/department within timescales
