Implementation Lead

The GIRFT focused support programme was established in 2022 as part of the wider GIRFT National Implementation team to provide on site support to providers and systems in the implementation of best practice surgical pathways. The programme also provides support in delivery of the longest elective waiters across England through establishment of mutual aid, supporting patients to travel for treatment and plays a pivotal role from GIRFT in ensuring specialist networks are functioning effectively. The team provide this specialist support primarily to surgical specialties but as services develop will be placed to expand their offer more widely into medical and specialist service provision. The teamwork in close collaboration with the theatres & periop & elective hub teams as well as providing specialist advice and support to the wider GIRFT implementation pillars., Extensive operational experience in surgical specialities within acute providers. Provide support to selected providers in implementing sustainable surgical pathways, (Regular travel across England required, including overnight stays) Work closely with Regional/System/provider colleagues to deliver the objectives of the GIRFT Focussed support programme Provide subject matter expertise to support development of guidance for providers on implementing surgical pathways and mutual aid Using available data be able to undertake complex analysis to identify challenges within provider or systems surgical pathways and be able to present this information at board and sub board level with credibility in understanding local processes and pressures, NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.
