Full Job Description

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this position will be tasked with buying, negotiating and following purchasing categories (goods / services), to ensure that quality, cost effective products are delivered in a timely manner in accordance with the needs expressed by relevant departments across the T.EN business.,

  • Participates in defining procurement strategies and activities to mitigate risk together with the indirect procurement manager.
  • Fulfils inquiries and purchasing activities within time and budget.
  • Assembles all information necessary for issuing an inquiry.
  • Expedites bids and conducts all negotiations with vendors.

  • A Degree level qualification and solid experience in buying / procurement.
  • Experience under Indirect Purchasing including but not limited to hiring agency contractor / contract personnel and/or Individual contractors /contingent workers in UK region with IR35 requirements, building facilities and IT equipment procurement, capable of handling a spend map of more than 20M€ with more than 100 personnel in contracted personnel / contingent workers per year.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the rules and principles of procurement.
  • Thorough understanding of the theory of models and tools within the procurement discipline.
  • Knowledge of key category suppliers and the overall market.
  • Familiarity with commercial terms (POs / contracts) and discipline terms & conditions.
  • Comprehension of local constraints & regulations.
  • Excellent negotiating skills.
