Full Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential? As an Industry Liaison Officer (ILO), you'll do exactly that, by creating bespoke industry work placement opportunities for your students. Securing and monitoring work placements for students in variety of areas is just the start. As the main point of contact with employers, you'll also plan and implement suitable events and visits for students. Given your knowledge and experience working with young people, it will be essential to engage with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to assess their skills and provide the support needed for their development, ensuring they are able to successfully complete a work placement. We are seeking to appoint an Industry Liaison Officer (ILO) who has excellent interpersonal skills and who possesses excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You will be highly organised and be able to prioritise work whilst applying a flexible and responsive approach to work demands.,

  • A level 3 qualification in a relevant subject is desirable, alternatively experience of working in a relevant sector and a willingness to obtain a relevant level 3 qualification will be considered.   • Please note that this role is 18.5 hours per week, 38 weeks during term time and the salary will be £9,905 pro rata per annum with an additional holiday payment for 5.5 weeks pro rata totalling £1,435. This will be paid equally in twelve-monthly salary payments
