If you would like to help us make a positive impact to health and social care within England, then read on., This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Information and Cyber Security Manager to join our developing Technology Team.
As the Information and Cyber Security Manager you will provides strategic direction for information and cyber security, developing and implementing the security programme to ensure the commission mitigates risks, has the necessary capabilities to prevent, detect and minimise the impact of security threats and meet its legislative requirements in line with organisational objectives.
You will utilise your broad working knowledge of the field, and as a subject matter expert, provide expert advice to the cyber and senior leadership team, whilst also acting as a CQC representative in managing key external relationships including the Department of Health and other government bodies

As an ideal candidate for this role, you will;
+ Understand common security standards, frameworks and regulations relating to the health industry environment
+ Manage the development, agreement and implementation of the cyber security and resilience programme in line with risk appetite
+ Further develop Continuous Cyber Assurance to provide real time visibility into security and compliance performance
+ Advise and make recommendations on effective cyber security practices to ensure the security of network and information systems when building new digital services.
+ Foster a security conscious and aware culture and ensure colleagues have the appropriate knowledge and skills to carry out their organisational roles securely.
