Full Job Description

In leading the MRI team at Liverpool, you will be responsible for the day to day clinical service. You will manage the implementation of legislation in addition to Trust and department policies and procedures including audit, risk management and staff management. The department has a 1.5T Siemens Sola.

You will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, organisational skills, expert MRI knowledge, adaptability and effective communication skills both written and verbal.

We are seeking to appoint a talented MRI lead radiographer to be based at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Liverpool , and you will be key in providing the best possible experience for our patients.

Although Liverpool will be your main base, we provide Radiology services at our other sites at the CDC in Liverpool and at our Wirral site and cover may be required at the other sites on occasion.

As MRI Clinical Specialist Radiographer, you will be part of a dedicated imaging team which includes Imaging Assistants, Radiographers, modality Clinical Specialists, Radiologists and MRI Physicists and will benefit from their experience and expertise., The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is one of three specialist cancer centres in England. With 1,800 specialist staff and three sites, we are one of the largest NHS providers of non-surgical cancer treatment. The Trust has a unique multi-site care model serving the 2.4 million population across Cheshire and Merseyside and is consistently rated by patients as one of the best performing hospitals.
