Investment Banking - ECM Southern Europe - Experienced Analyst - London

Our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team is responsible for the oversight of origination and execution of a variety of transaction types (including IPOs, rights issues, ABBs/blocks, equity-linked instruments and equity private placements). As an Investment Banking Experienced Analyst within the Southern European ECM team (covering the Iberia, Greece, Italy, Benelux and France regions), you will assist in preparing origination / marketing materials to pitch new ideas and execute transactions for clients. You will be involved in the ECM coverage effort for a variety of corporate clients across industries. You will work closely together with other corporate finance / capital markets teams within the bank (investment banking coverage & industry teams, mergers and acquisitions, debt capital markets, acquisition & leveraged finance and equity derivatives). • Take part in origination and execution of ECM transactions led by J.P. Morgan
• Draft equity market updates to corporate clients on a regular basis leveraging internal and external databases (Bloomberg, Dealogic)
• Liaise with equity syndicate / research / sales / trading teams in order to gather market intelligence on an ad hoc basis
• Conduct investor targeting exercises and collect investor feedback using a variety of sources and internal teams (sales / syndicate / research / corporate access)
• Work together with corporate clients and transaction lawyers

• Spanish language speakers with proficiency in Italian are preferred.
