Junior Infrastructure Engineer

As a Junior Infrastructure Engineer working alongside the IT department in our Grimsby office, you will work across projects helping to implement and maintain secure network and server infrastructure, end user devices and business applications.Your main duties will include:

Collaborate on projects to design, deploy, and maintain secure network and server infrastructure.

Investigate and analyse system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Oversee the performance and functionality of network devices, including switches and wireless access points, to ensure optimal operation.

Work with systems related to endpoint device administration, encompassing software distribution, updates, patch management, virus protection, and device imaging.

Assist in the creation and troubleshooting of network accounts, ensuring efficient access and resolution of related issues.

We are interested to hear from candidates with initiative and a strong team ethos. Some IT experience is desirable. A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required for this role, as travel to our other offices will occasionally be necessary.
