Full Job Description

  • To support the development of the RLAM propositional strategy by undertaking competitor and market intelligence that provides information on market dynamics and competitors.
  • To help identify opportunities and threats to the business, and how they might be exploited or mitigated against
  • To contribute towards building a deeper understanding of our customer needs, across channels and geographies, and helping to ensure these are captured within future proposition developments.
  • To ensure effective dissemination of market and client intelligence across key stakeholders, utilising various Microsoft applications, especially PowerBI.
  • To provide support to the wider proposition team, when required.

    You will largely be responsible for conducting competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities and threats and will also contribute towards gathering insights into customer needs across market segments. To be successful and drive this role, you will have strong analytical experience, good communication skills and bring expertise in industry and competitor trends., Good knowledge of industry, market and competitive trends and their implications.
  • Good knowledge of different distribution channels, territories and regulatory environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to tell the story from a variety of data sources (Morningstar, Broadridge, eVestment).
  • Good presentational skills, with ability to present recommendations to senior management.
  • Excellent knowledge of and ability to demonstrate across Microsoft power apps but specifically PowerBI.
  • University degree. IMC/IAQ or similar investment qualification preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills - ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Confident and effective verbal and written communications.
  • Good analytical skills and confidence with numerical data.
  • Good communication skills
  • Coding or advanced Excel skills a plus
