Landscaping Lecturer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Green Hub staff team at Gower College Swansea. The role will involve delivering level 1 and level 2 qualification to learners aged 14 and above. Many of the learners have additional learning needs and some display challenging behaviour.,

• To deliver Landscaping / Multi Skills and Eco-construction qualifications at level 1 and level 2 to learners aged 14 -19
• Actively contribute to the 14 - 19 curriculum
• Ensure teaching and learning strategies and teaching materials are planned as well as accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners
  
  Qualified teacher with experience of working with hard to reach learners
• Enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors /sustainable horticulture / landscaping and eco construction
• Excellent learner management skills coupled with the tenacity, commitment and patience to deal with a variety of learners, many with ALN and challenging behaviour.

  46 days annual leave (pro-rata), plus bank holidays, and the college is closed for two weeks over the Christmas period
