Full Job Description

  • Data Pipeline Development: Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using tools like Spark, Airflow, Control-M, SAS or R.
  • SQL Proficiency: Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from large relational databases.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure but particularly Google Cloud (GCP). Knowledge of data storage, management, and orchestration would be an advantage.
  • Data Quality and Validation: Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data through quality checks, monitoring, and validation processes.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to ensure data solutions align with organizational needs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment., Being open to different points of view is important for our business and the communities we serve.   • Degree or relevant experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field would be beneficial
  • 1-2 years of experience in data engineering, data management, analytics or related fields.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with cloud data solutions.
  • Knowledge of data processing tools (Spark, Hadoop, etc.) and ETL best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SAS for data processing tasks; familiarity with version control (eg Git) is desirable.
