Full Job Description
The Cards platform is at the heart of meeting the needs of new and existing customers who want to access flexible credit. Our purpose is to help Britain prosper through responsible lending and we do that through building great experiences for new and existing customers. We're investing to make it effortless for customers to get the right credit product, features and service for their need, situation and lifestyle. We also know that customers will change over time so we're making sure that our products, features and experiences grow with them. To meet our vision, we need to build and launch features at pace, through our 15+ feature teams, and in a complicated, regulated environment. As the lead integrator for the platform, you'll be at the heart of unlocking that pace to make digital and experience change happen for our customers. What you'll achieve You'll be accountable for building and leading a team to deeply understand and sequence the dependencies between feature teams, wider platforms in the group and 3rd parties. You'll partner across Product Owners, Engineers, Customer Journey Managers and wider stakeholders to enable change to happen. As a leader in the Cards platform, we will look to you to hold a holistic view of our delivery forecasts, execution risks and flow of work. On a day-to-day basis you'll find yourself:
- Providing clarity, direction and challenge to your team of 5-10 colleagues.
- Collaborating and supporting alignment across broad stakeholder groups, whilst partnering on future priorities and roadmaps, bringing expertise on forecasting and estimation.
- Unblocking impediments and working through challenging situations to find solutions.
- Being a sounding board and consultancy for peers, providing experience and best practice in delivering agile at scale.
To succeed you'll need to be an experienced people leader, as you'll be forming a new team of integrators for the platform. You'll have proven leadership, with a track record of improving the teams you work in. You'll be at your best when working with a variety of people, building enduring relationships and cutting through ambiguity to make delivery happen. Proven experience leading and delivering change in a scaled agile environment over a number of years is important, as is familiarity with how to get the best from industry-standard toolkits like the Jira suite. Understanding both theory and practical techniques to manage delivery in an agile environment will be critical. Experience leading change in a regulated environment or the banking/lending sector is valuable, but not essential. - A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
- An annual performance-related bonus
- Share schemes including free shares
- Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
- 30 days' holiday, with bank holidays on top
- A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies If you're excited by the thought of becoming part of our team, get in touch. We'd love to hear from you!
