Are you a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join a friendly and inclusive SEN school in Guildford, where you will have the chance to support students in building confidence, developing skills, and realising their full potential. This role is ideal for a Learning Support Assistant who thrives in a supportive environment and enjoys working closely with students., As a Learning Support Assistant at this Guildford school, you'll work alongside teachers and other staff to provide one-on-one and small group support, helping students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs to overcome learning challenges. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to support students in reaching their goals and preparing for life beyond school.
Students: Ages 10-16, + Provide targeted support to students both in and out of the classroom, either within a group or on a one-to-one basis.
+ Foster a positive and respectful learning environment that promotes growth, inclusivity, and student wellbeing.
+ Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and other team members to ensure each student receives the support they need.
+ Encourage and motivate students, promoting self-confidence and a love of learning.
+ Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

+ Experience working with young people, ideally in an SEN or SEMH setting, is beneficial but not essential.
+ A caring, patient approach and a strong commitment to supporting students.
+ Applicants must have their own transport due to the school's rural location in Guildford.
