This role is ideal for a Learning Support Assistant who thrives in a supportive environment and enjoys working closely with students., As a Learning Support Assistant at this Guildford school, you'll work alongside teachers and other staff to provide one-on-one and small group support, helping students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs to overcome learning challenges. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to support students in reaching their goals and preparing for life beyond school.
Students: Ages 10-16, + Provide targeted support to students both in and out of the classroom, either within a group or on a one-to-one basis.
+ Foster a positive and respectful learning environment that promotes growth, inclusivity, and student wellbeing.
+ Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and other team members to ensure each student receives the support they need.
+ Encourage and motivate students, promoting self-confidence and a love of learning.
+ Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

+ Experience working with young people, ideally in an SEN or SEMH setting, is beneficial but not essential.
+ A caring, patient approach and a strong commitment to supporting students.
+ Applicants must have their own transport due to the school's rural location in Guildford.
