Now, we're ready to take things even further and are looking for a new Learning Support Technologist to drive digital innovation in teaching and learning across the College. Reporting to the Digital Team Leader, you'll work closely with different curriculum areas to create professional development that supports staff upskilling. You'll help implement and promote our Teaching, Learning, and Digital Strategies, working with staff both one-on-one and in group sessions. You'll also have the chance to contribute to college-wide projects and initiatives., We're seeking a Learning Support Technologist with excellent people skills and a real passion for helping teachers thrive. As our new Learning Support Technologist, you'll bring a proactive, tech-savvy approach and a real passion for advancing digital learning across our student and staff communities. You'll use your strong technical skills in learning technologies to develop and maintain digital systems that elevate the educational experience for everyone. With your outstanding people skills, you'll also build great relationships with teachers, support staff, and managers, helping them feel confident and inspired to use digital tools in their teaching. If you love delivering training and upskilling others, this role is perfect for you! You'll have the chance to guide both staff and students to make the most of digital resources and stay at the cutting edge of new educational technology trends. As a forward-thinking team player, you'll drive projects that align with our strategic learning goals, all while maintaining the highest professional standards in safeguarding, data protection, and equality to create a safe, inclusive environment. Utilising your strong organisational skills, you'll help to keep our digital reporting systems running smoothly, measure their impact, and help support eLearning apprenticeships. Below is a list of some of the key skills, qualifications and experience we are seeking for this exciting opportunity. Required

  • Level 3 qualification in IT or related field
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent Level 2 qualification
  • Experience delivering web services using HTML, Microsoft platforms, and Moodle or other VLEs.
