Full Job Description

The department of the Vice President External Engagement coordinates UCL's engagement with a range of audiences, raising the university's profile and influence, and managing its reputation. It promotes the public value of UCL's research and partnerships to the future of Britain and globally. It is a service-driven function made up of communications and marketing professionals who deliver sector-leading media relations, public affairs, institutional communications, brand and integrated marketing, student recruitment, and events., As a Liaison and Recruitment Manager you will form part of UCL's Student Recruitment management team. You will lead your own team with responsibility for selected markets in East, Central and Southeast Asia . You will work with your team to develop recruitment strategies for your markets, and will be responsible for overseeing their successful implementation.

Extensive experience in student recruitment and marketing, with a successful track record in a comprehensive university environment, knowledge and experience of managing a presence on Chinese social media platforms and fluency in Mandarin are all essential. Knowledge and experience of Chinese social media, including Weibo and WeChat and a working knowledge of Mandarin would be desirable.
