Full Job Description

As a member of the Stations Operations and Maintenance Team, you are part of a small team responsible for the maintenance and management of all plant and equipment on site.,

  • Fault Diagnosis, maintenance and repair of C&I equipment across all areas of plant as well as carrying out routine maintenance activities.
  • Working in an efficient and proactive manner, in accordance with Company safety rules and procedures, you will require minimal Supervision.
  • This is primarily a day working role but you must be prepared to provide cover outside normal working hours and to work shifts if required.
  • You should be aware that the role includes working in confined spaces, at heights and in all weathers.

    Safety, Quality, and Goal Achievement: Demonstrates a proactive, technically sound approach toward safety, quality work, and meeting company and team goals.
  • Team-Oriented and Self-Motivated: Maintains a positive, proactive team attitude with self-reliance, motivation, confidence, and flexible working hours.
  • Qualified and Experienced: Holds at least NVQ Level 3 in engineering, is apprentice-trained with over two years of experience, and has in-depth knowledge of control and instrumentation equipment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in IT systems, HMI, PLCs, and has experience with pneumatic and hydraulic control systems, fault diagnosis, and DSEAR/ATEX standards.
  • Decision-Making and Communication Skills: Exhibits strong communication abilities, decision-making under pressure, and builds effective relationships across the organization.
  • Safety Systems and Hazardous Equipment Expertise: Skilled in working with safety instrumented systems, DCS, and hazardous area equipment, including the ability to train to COMPEX standards.

    An expected starting salary from £42,000 to £51,000 depending on experience and up to 10% annual bonus
