Full Job Description

We have two exciting opportunities for Maintenance Technicians (Multiskilled) to join our expanding team with one based at Villa Park and one based at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. You will be responsible for ensuring all our facilities are kept to high standards and planning routine maintenance work (both planned and preventative). This will include general day-to-day maintenance; project work and other maintenance duties as and when required.

At Villa Park, this role will have a specific focus on painting and decorating - this will include preparing and painting a variety of surfaces including aluminum, woodwork and interior dry rolls

These are varied roles with the opportunity to really expand your knowledge and experience in a fast-paced exciting environment.

You will need to be self-driven, passionate about the quality of your work and skilled in your craft. You will need to have a City and Guilds Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) with proven experience using hand tools, general maintenance and maintenance practical skills. You will need to be a problem solver, able to assess a problem, develop a solution and making sound, safe and logical decisions. You will have experience of working in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task and manage projects simultaneously.

Ideally, you will have a Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP) Licence, be ladder training and be IOSH trained.

You will need to be able to work flexibly as the Club requires which will include matchdays, evenings and weekends. You will need to have a driving licence with access to a vehicle or the ability to travel between our Club sites, including Villa Park, London Office, and Bodymoor Heath Training Ground.

Our Facilities and Estates Department are responsible for looking after our facilities across all our sites - Villa Park, Bodymoor Heath Training Ground and our Brookvale Inner City Academy. This is an exciting time at the Club, we are celebrating our 150th anniversary, qualified for the 2024/25 Champions League and we are determined to continue growing our success on and off the pitch.
