Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Matchday Crowd Safety Manager to join our matchday operation. The role will be responsible for managing an area of the stadium's safety operation, leading teams of stewards and other operations such as catering and merchandising are aligned with the safety plan. You will need to ensure smooth collaboration and communication between teams, whilst maintaining operational efficiency and proactively addressing any potential issues. You will be responsible for implementing the Safety Officer's dot plan, managing the deployment of staff, and ensuring that safety procedures are effectively followed throughout the event.

You must be 18 years of age or over and hold a Level 4 Diploma in Spectator Safety Management. You will have a strong understanding and experience in crowd safety management within a stadium environment and possess strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions in a fast-paced operational setting.

You will need to be able to handle and resolve difficult situations and request in a professional manner whilst delivering exceptional customer service. You will need to be comfortable delivering briefs and debriefs to a range of stakeholders. You must demonstrate the ability to supervise effectively in a busy environment along with a proven history of mentoring and developing supervisors and writing detailed post-event reports.

You will be familiar with event management and applicable legislation for venues and events is essential. You must be available to work home matches and other events which will include evenings and weekends.
