Full Job Description
The Maths Teacher will :
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum and the school's high academic standards.
- Inspire a love for mathematics, fostering a positive, stimulating learning environment that encourages students' engagement and confidence.
- Support the school's behaviour policy, based on choice, chance, and consequence, helping to maintain a respectful and focused classroom culture.
- Monitor and assess pupils' progress, adjusting lesson plans to address knowledge gaps and enhance subject understanding.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and cross-curricular initiatives to enhance the learning experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on students' progress to build strong home-school partnerships.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant qualifications in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching mathematics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.

- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to apply the school's behaviour policy consistently and effectively.
