Red Bull Advanced Technologies are constantly elevating performance to new heights, and the recently announced RB17 two-seat Hypercar is set to be the ultimate on-track driving experience pushing design and technical boundaries far beyond what has previously been imagined. We now have an exciting opportunity to be part of our expanding, Mechanical Department.

We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer Contractor (Inside IR35) to work on a variety of exciting project in the sea and on the track. You will be responsible for providing robust design methodology to all aspects of component and assembly design to ensure they are fit for purpose & available for manufacture on schedule and in a structured and timely manner.

You will be producing creative designs on NX CAD across a variety of projects, as well as producing drawings to design office standards and to the schedule required by our clients. You will undertake client liaison, participate in client meetings, and provide regular updates on project work and outputs as required.

You will have previous experience within a similar role ideally within F1, Motorsport, Automotive, Marine, or similar, designing Performance vehicles. You will be an excellent team player who is able to assist with other design issues when requested to by the Chief Designer, as well as being confident making challenging technical decisions and developments within the industry - materials, technology, processes, software tools etc.
