Midwife

Our maternity department is responsible for providing all care to pregnant women and support for their families throughout the pregnancy and birth continuum. The department includes hospital and community based midwifery services.

We are incredibly proud of our maternity service and we offer a high level of support to our midwives. We have a high level of staff satisfaction and a small, friendly and welcoming team. Harrogate is a high performing maternity unit and we are seeking highly motivated individuals to contribute and develop the delivery of high quality, evidence-based midwifery. This post includes rotational opportunities throughout the maternity service including inpatient areas and community which will be discussed with candidates at interview. We actively support you to develop and enhance your skills in all aspects of midwifery. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of the national agenda within maternity and a clear commitment to helping the trust achieve this.
