Monitoring Risk Manager, Account Compliance

The Account Compliance team at Amazon are dedicated to making the organization the safest and most trusted place to buy and sell. Our primary goal is to protect our customers' interests while balancing risk management with exceptional customer experience. This is achieved through our global first line of defense (1LoD) risk program.,

• Lead a Monitoring program that performs continuous reviews to existing controls in Amazon and ensure they are adequate and operating efficiently.
• Conduct Reviews of Amazon 3P VAT Policies and Requirements to identify controls that should be subject to ongoing monitoring.
• Work with Program, Tech and BI teams to support the launch of monitoring mechanisms for existing VAT controls.
• Deep dive into defects identified on VAT controls and provide support with root cause analysis, risk assessment and identification of remediation plan.
• Produce and present detailed reports with findings from Monitoring activity and providing updates to senior leadership at varying cadences (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly)
• Expand the Monitoring program into new areas or products, or where VAT requirements are being introduced.
  
  Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent
• Experience in program or project management
• Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements
• Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
• Experience with SQL and Excel
