Full Job Description

  • Carry out PPM, Reactive Maintenance, and extra works requirements in accordance with set schedules.
  • Carry out minor plumbing tasks, when required
  • Ensure standards are maintained to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the site systems.
  • Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
  • Fault finding and remedial works as required
  • Weekly and periodic inspections as per H&S Inspection matrix
  • Assist with other PPM/extra works related tasks
  • Attend weekly site meetings and toolbox talks.
  • To provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required.
  • Work a split shift system.
  • Escort and supervise sub-contractors on site

    18th Edition Regulations Certificate
  • Relevant level 3 electrical qualification
  • AM2
  • Multiple installation experience - FP200 / SWA (installation and termination) / cable tray / ladder rack
  • Emergency Lighting - functional testing and repair
  • Minimum of City & Guilds Craft Qualification Certificate (electrical / mechanical) and demonstrable experience in a trade discipline
  • Problem solving ability in response to technical issues, fault diagnosis and solution finding
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all levels within Sodexo
  • Numerate and computer literate
  • Strong sense of client focus
  • The ability to listen to others understand and interpret their views
  • Personal presentation must be of a high professional standard
  • Prioritizing own workload and working under own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to organize others
