Full Job Description
As a Network Engineer Apprentice, you'll be a key part of the Eat IT Drink IT team, gaining practical skills and learning from experienced professionals. The role offers a combination of office-based work and travel to client sites, where you'll tackle real-world challenges and provide technical support. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve network and IT issues.
- Configure and optimise networks to meet client needs.
- Install network cabling, including Cat5 and Cat6 systems.
- Set up and connect network devices such as routers, switches, servers, and computers.
- Provide on-site technical support for clients, occasionally working on multi-day assignments.
- Upgrade hardware components, including RAM and hard drives, and update operating systems such as Windows.
- Configure and install routers for optimal performance.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
A valid driving licence is essential due to the requirement to travel to client locations. - Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A genuine interest in IT, networking, and technology.

£16,000 - £18,000 per annum (dependent on experience) - Initial salary: £17,000 Apprenticeship Details
- Training Programme: Network Engineer (Level 4)
- Duration: 18 months Working Hours
- Schedule: Monday to Sunday, between 8:00 am and 11:00 pm (40 hours per week)
