Full Job Description

As a Network Engineer Apprentice, you'll be a key part of the Eat IT Drink IT team, gaining practical skills and learning from experienced professionals. The role offers a combination of office-based work and travel to client sites, where you'll tackle real-world challenges and provide technical support. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve network and IT issues.
  • Configure and optimise networks to meet client needs.
  • Install network cabling, including Cat5 and Cat6 systems.
  • Set up and connect network devices such as routers, switches, servers, and computers.
  • Provide on-site technical support for clients, occasionally working on multi-day assignments.
  • Upgrade hardware components, including RAM and hard drives, and update operating systems such as Windows.
  • Configure and install routers for optimal performance.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.

    A valid driving licence is essential due to the requirement to travel to client locations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A genuine interest in IT, networking, and technology.

    £16,000 - £18,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
