Network Technician (EL521) Salary: £25,205 - £28,282 (per annum) Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Ellesmere Port We are seeking an enthusiastic Network Technician to join our team at our Ellesmere Port Campus. This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative technician to provide a quality support service for learners, visitors, customers, and staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair IT systems and equipment (hardware, peripherals and software) to ensure they are functioning effectively, in accordance with agreed service standards;
- Install IT equipment and software to meet user needs;
- Identify persistent and potential problems and suggest and implement solutions;
- Assist with the inventory audits of equipment and software;
- Assist in the development and technical support of the technology infrastructure for both voice and data and;
- Promote the welfare of children and young people. Key Person Specification Requirements:
- GCSE Grade C (4/5) or above in English and Maths (or equivalent);
- Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
- Excellent organisational skills; and
