Full Job Description

Are you a qualified nursing associate looking for an exciting new challenge and would like to be part of our new Acute response Team if so We are searching for Band 4 Nursing Associates to come and join our new and evolving nursing team in CHFT Acute Response service. This service will support the deteriorating patient on both sites and will be working with the new integrated team (formerly Critical Care Outreach and Hospital Out of Hours). The post holder will work as an integral member of the Acute response team, providing an exemplary service to deteriorating patients. The post holder will utilise an appropriate assessment tool to determine allocation of tasks to skilled professionals, as well as utilise own learned skills, to include: triaging patients, venepuncture and cannulation, collection of blood cultures, ultrasound guided cannulation, venous blood gas sampling, spirometry out of hours, Be involved in informal and formal education to other healthcare professionals within the Trust. This role will cover out of hours, predominantly nights, weekend days and nights, and bank holidays. The post holder will be required to rotate between both sites that make up Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.,

  • To be responsible for providing the appropriate nursing evidence based care of an allocated group of patients.
