Full Job Description

We are looking for a Deskside Support engineer to join the Workplace Services team and deliver the best deskside support for our customer. You will be joining a team of engineers delivering Incident and IMAC services to approximately 2000 users. As such, you will need to be a fast learner; able to receive technical instructions and respond in a confident manner to ensure any downtime is kept to a minimum. You will help manage the call queue, keeping tickets updated with latest actions and closing within SLA. You will assist in the creation of process documentation, Knowledge Articles to identify first time fix opportunities and further service improvements. You will be required to work onsite at the Leeds Thorpe Park office, covering both early and late shifts in turn (0700-1515 & 0900 - 1715)

  • Good communication - ability to present yourself confidently with all levels of customer.
  • Good diagnostic approach - methodical and considered
  • Experience of fault-finding on both laptop and desktops
  • Knowledge of Win10 build basics and installation/uninstall of software
  • Experience with utilizing SCCM to deploy applications and updates.
  • Basic network skills - sufficient to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Time management- working to deadlines and able to prioritize tasks
  • ServiceNow knowledge or experience with similar ticket handling applications
  • Quality control and attention to detail
