Full Job Description

The Partnership Office provides support to the Leadership Team which is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm's strategy together with oversight of the management of the firm. The Partner Office team, which sits within the Partnership Office, is responsible for partner HR matters and supports the Leadership Team and the Partnership Office Directors with ad hoc projects. We'll help you succeed Leading organisations trust us because of the quality of our advice. You'll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO's partners to help businesses effectively. You'll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with. Reporting to the Head of the Partner Office, you will assist with the provision of an efficient, effective and professional administrative support service to the team, with specific responsibility for ensuring that partner HR data is complete and accurate. You will be expected to provide an exceptional client experience in supporting partner HR initiatives within the firm. You'll also:

  • Maintain partner HR records and process changes
  • Address and resolve general HR-related queries to the team.
  • Oversee logistics and administration of partner promotion processes.
  • Manage tasks related to partner hiring, onboarding, and departures.
  • Assist with the administration of partner performance and compensation processes.
  • Support partner insurance scheme administration.
  • Lead small-scale Partnership Office projects in collaboration with managers.
  • Provide assistance on ad hoc Partnership Office projects and information requests.
  • Ensure quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement of workflows and processes.
  • Prioritize tasks and work activities effectively.

    Previous experience of administration and/or a similar role
  • Good analytical and numerical ability - able to analyse, evaluate and interpret data
  • The ability to 'connect the dots' between different processes and data
  • Experience of managing small projects
  • IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft packages (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), together with good knowledge of Excel
  • The ability to identify process weaknesses or errors and highlight these to manager.
  • Strong communication skills; being able to adapt style to suit different stakeholders
  • Good interpersonal skills & telephone manner; helping to create a positive impression at all touch points
  • The ability to prioritise tasks
  • Responsiveness to ad hoc requests
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • This role will require a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
