Full Job Description
- Lead outbound prospecting and negotiations for subscription sales, overseeing the process from lead generation to closure.
- Shape the sales strategy by providing insights on opportunities, account specifics, and market trends.
- Support account management by proactively identifying upsell opportunities and fostering account growth.
- Manage the B2B student project, ensuring alignment with the marketing team and other business units.
- Brief and collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine sales collateral, promotional materials and campaign assets that engage clients.
- Innovate and think creatively to maximise revenue potential, integrating other business areas such as advertising, Times+, events, and licensing into discussions as appropriate.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to optimise results and drive continuous improvement.
Experience in sales or partnerships, ideally within media, publishing, or subscription-based sectors, with a proven track record in outbound sales. - Strong and confident negotiator with a proven ability to achieve sales targets ideally within a subscription-based or partnerships-focused environment.
- Commercially minded and proficient in creating persuasive sales materials and presentations.
- Experience in leading, negotiating and finalising contracts.

Your role: This role sits within Times Media, reporting to the B2B Team Lead. Whilst physical newspapers are still a key part of our business, driving digital subscriptions and audiences will be the key to future success.
