Full Job Description

Required ASAP - 37 hours per week - Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm & Friday 8:30am to 4.00pm - Term Time only + 5 INSET days, We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral & Achievement Co-ordinator to assist the heads of year in delivering pastoral care for students to secure high levels of achievement.

This post is student and parent facing within the pastoral management function and as such, the successful candidate will be a significant ambassador for the school.

As a member of support staff the post holder will deputise and provide support to Heads of Year, in addition to behaviour management when necessary.

Duties include:

Co-ordinate policies and procedures to promote positive student behaviour and achievement.
To assist in the effective organisation, administration and use of tutor time.
Organisation of transition meeting and visits
To contribute to the assessment, monitoring, recording and reporting of pupil achievement in line with school policy.
To build relationships with families, including arranging and participating in discussions with families and external agencies.
